A TOTAL of 1,405 patients benefited from the medical and dental missions that the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) conducted recently at the Bohol Cultural Center.

Francisca Baluyot, the governor’s consultant on health and hospital services, said the figure is broken down as follows: 683 medical cases; 352 dental patients and 370 pediatrics cases.

The patients availed of the medicines, free of charge, and thanked Aumentado for bringing PCSO’s special services to the people.

The beneficiaries came from all over Tagbilaran City.

Aumentado thanked PCSO for celebrating their 75th anniversary in Bohol.

Chairman Sergio Valencia and General Manager Rosario Uriarte however failed to attend the bash here due to other commitments.

He pointed out that health is among the indicators or benchmarks used by the United Nations Development Progrrame (UNDP), the other two being income and education.

From the cultural center, the PCSO doctors and other volunteers proceeded to the Dagohoy ballroom of the Bohol Tropics Resort for dinner tendered in their honor by Aumentado.
